01THE PROBLEM

A large LEGO catalogue is not shopped by collection. Customers arrive knowing a theme, an age, a budget or a piece count, and the standard Shopify structure offers none of those as a way in.

02WHAT I DID

Shipped it

I built and launched the storefront on my own — implementation, catalogue setup, SEO and launch — on Hydrogen and Oxygen.

Made the catalogue shoppable

Products were structured around theme, age, price and piece count in metafields and metaobjects, then those became real paths: a theme directory, shop-by-age and shop-by-price pages, and facets on every collection.

Handed it over

After launch I handled product feeds, policy pages, order tracking and Merchant Center, then handed the store over in December 2025 with documentation.

Shop-by-age: discovery pages beyond standard collections, editable by the client.
04WHERE IT LANDED

Live since September 2025 and handed over that December. Eight months on, the client still runs substantially the implementation I delivered — which is the point of this one: it shipped, it works, someone else operates it.
